This is a card game I made for my Game Design 1 class. This game was made as a commentary on stress. As a college student I felt that this game was relatable and fun to play.
There are four types of cards all corresponding to moods: Happy, Sad, Jealous, and Stress. Each type is made up of different synonyms to the base word. Each word does a different action.
The four types have a similar action types. Happy do good things for the player that played them. Sad typically does something that is not good or neutral for the player who played it. Jealous allows players to mess with other players. Then Stress does nothing for the player and acts as wall in the way.
I had a lot of fun making this game and am really proud of the results.
